The Catch 22 Of Internet Marketing

Making money on the Internet, whether people realize it or not, is a terrible catch 22. Under the best of circumstances it's hard, but with the built in obstacles, it's close to impossible. This article will try to explain why things are so bad.

When the dot coms crashed in the late 90's, people lost a lot of money. Suddenly, the Internet, which was such a great cash generating machine, became a place where only crooks and con men hung out. At least so it seemed. Everyone became skeptical to the point of not believing anybody. Who could blame them? Every money making scheme that came along turned out to be just that, a scheme. Even if you had something that was legit, nobody would believe it.

The only ones who were making money were the ones who had what is called credibility. Credibility is not somebody giving a testimonial for you that your product or business is great, because those can be easily made up. Credibility is being able to show someone that your program really works by showing them the money you made with it.

Therein lies the catch 22. How can you show people money that you made from a program if you haven't made it yet? And how can you make it if you don't have the credibility? It's kind of like going out to find a job and they tell you that they're looking for someone with experience. How can you get it if they won't give you a job to get it?

So the question is, how do you overcome this mountain of an obstacle? Well, to be honest, it isn't easy. The best way is to find something on the Internet that actually does pay you for the work you do. This isn't easy to do because paying jobs online are few and far between, but they do exist. You just have to know where to look.

A book I just put together, the one in my signature, contains such a program. It's a company that pays to do Internet research for them. They don't pay much, but it's money and money is credibility. You can now show people you have made money online and maybe, just maybe, they might believe that you know what you are talking about when you tell them that your program will work for them.

So no matter how dull, boring, or whatever that job is, do it for a few months. Make a few bucks. The credibility it will build for you will last a lifetime.
